Monster Making with Throb Zombie

Join legendary drag monster and performer Throb Zombie for a class exploring different techniques in creature costuming through two back to back courses.

Haunters, cosplay artists, drag performers, costume makers and hobbyists, all are welcome for this class where we dive into DIY from the darkness!

From kaiju muscle making, drool that doesn't drip, basic foam smithing, exploring texture and more to turn your creature from concept to creation!

Safety with tools and products, keeping mobility and breathability in mind, and encouraging bizarre creativity, this is a class for not just stage performing costuming. Haunters, cosplay artists, hobbyists, all are welcome for this class where we dive into DIY from the darkness!

In this class you will:

• Learn the basics of aspect, mobility, and design for a monster costume
• Design your own monster
• Learn about specialty tools and techniques from film and stage
• Learn safety basics around tools and products
• Receive a packet with resources, tool lists and locations, and inspiration custom created by Throb
• Be encouraged to create strange art!

2-Day Workshop fee: $211.79 (fees included)
This is a two-part class. One ticket will get you admistance to both sessions. held on August 30th & Sept 6th 12pm-1:30pm. Pre-registration required.

Prerequisites: Students must be 16 years old or older; All students under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
