Superstitions have long surrounded Copicut Woods, and rumors of witchcraft and other paranormal activity circulate the property to this day. Join us on Halloween weekend as we explore the history of Copicut’s local lore. This guided hike will travel through an abandoned farm settlement and the 150-year-old stone-wall-lined Miller Lane. Hikers can expect to hear spooky stories, learn about local wildlife, and discuss how our relationship to nature intersects with Halloween themed lore and legends.
Best for ages 12+. Hiking trails are flat, with plenty of exposed roots and rocks.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own flashlights if needed.
Hiking-friendly costumes are welcomed.
