For one night, the woods behind the Minor Memorial Library in Roxbury, CT becomes a spooky trail for kids and families. Follow the Grimm Brothers’ dark story of Rapunzel along the ¼ mile long trail.
Produced by Roxbury’s “Halloween Queen” Heather Hemsey, the trail features incredible decorations, sounds, and lighting effects. As visitors walk along the trail they will stop to hear a narration of this famous fairytale. While some effects and decorations could be frightening for the youngest visitors, there are no jump scares along the trail and Halloween fans of all ages are welcome. Flashlights and Halloween costumes are welcomed and encouraged.
Like all trails, there can be rocks and sticks along the path so appropriate footwear is required and please be careful! This event occurs at night, in the dark, on a wooded trail. Children must be accompanied by an adult and all guests must be able to navigate the path which includes uneven surfaces.
Admission: Suggested donation $10 per family to help us offset the cost of putting on this fantastic event.
