Join the Junior Friends of the Groton Public Library for their eighth annual Bumpers & Books, a festive twist on a traditional trunk-or-treat event. The Junior Friends and their families, as well as Library staff and town employees, will be on hand in the Library's back parking lot to give out treats from the trunks of their decorated vehicles.
The twist? All the vehicles will be decorated in author and book-related themes! From Alice in Wonderland to Hunger Games to How to Catch a Unicorn, don't miss our boo-ktacular display of trunks! There will be crafts, face painting and tattoos for children and a library swag sale for adults.
Bumpers & Books is free and open to the public.
Children are encouraged to dress in book- or author-related costumes to add to the festivities.
