The Deadwicks' Ethereal Faire: Cirque Du Lune

Deadwick's Ethereal Emporium proudly presents CIRQUE DU LUNE.

Step right up and gather 'round! As the sun sets, the night market, costumes, and entertainment take a turn for the adventurous with a spookier atmosphere... Two nights of the Ethereal Faire will feature more than 60 vendors, performances of all kinds, and artists converging across the grounds of the historic Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA -  this is sure to be the most extravagant Ethereal Faire yet! 

Immerse yourself among the circus hoops, fans, fire, tarot, and palm readers, appearances from characters from Doom and Gloomy, Haunted Overload's infamously haunting clown duo, magicians, wet plate collodion photography, fire performances, and incredible local vendors and makers.

The special add-on performance pass treats you to a variety of entertainment and experiences including an adult circus, Patty Bouree's dark carnival-themed show, Lady Luck Burlesque, the Poetry Brothel, and more.

Portsmouth, NH's beloved Fezziwig's Food & Fountain will be serving up your circus favorites as well as heartier fare throughout the weekend. Castle Hill will provide licensed alcohol by local vendors.

Content Note: The general admission to the Evening Faire will be suitable for people of any age who enjoy a spookier atmosphere of walkaround entertainment, slightly darker themes, and festivities.
However, the (add-on) performances are strictly 21+ as they will feature mature content.

FRIDAY
7:00pm - 3 Rings Creations: Circus Act for Grown Ups

8:30pm - Patty Bourree: Boston-based drag queen Patty Bouree's dark carnival themed show will featuring live vocals, audience interaction and photo ops after the show.

SATURDAY
7:00pm - Lady Luck Burlesque: Prepare to be dazzled by a blend of classic and neo-burlesque, circus performance, and comedic acts.

8:30pm - The Poetry Brothel: At The Poetry Brothel, a “madam” presents a rotating cast of poets and artists who operate within self-constructed characters and share their work through staged public performances, spontaneous immersive eruptions, and, most distinctly, as purveyors of private poetry readings in intimate spaces. Central to The Poetry Brothel experience is the creation of character, which for each artist serves as a disguise and freeing device, enabling The Poetry Brothel to be a place of uninhibited creative expression in which artists and audience members alike can communicate more authentically. The Poetry Brothel will transport the audience to a state of poetic ecstasy through a variety show featuring song, gender diverse burlesque, and of course, words, words, words! Our wordsmiths, hoop artists, dancers, singers, and mystics will open your hearts, change your minds, and challenge your vocabulary.
