In Clive Barker’s film adaptation of his own novel, Boone (Sheffer) is tormented by dreams of Midian, a city populated by monsters. Under the influence of a sinister psychoanalyst (Cronenberg), Boone becomes convinced that he is a murderer and, discovering that Midian is real, sets out to take his place amongst the monsters.
